Every CARINE style is thoughtfully designed and cut by the designer, Carine Wang. She insists on a perfect fit for today’s real woman, something difficult to find at the mall or department store. As a retailer herself, she understands the importance of keeping prices reasonable while signaling quality and value to the customer.

In her stores, Wang loves to combine classic good taste with a contemporary look and feel. She is an experienced designer, international buyer, and a skilled master tailor and seamstress who can personalize any wardrobe to perfection.

 

After graduating with a fashion degree in her native Singapore, she enhanced her education at The Parsons College of Art in California. Carine continued to work in the women's fashion industry for 10 years and quietly designed her own collection of clothing before opening Carine’s Boutique in 2001.

 

Following the success of Carine’s Boutique, now CARINE at Gainey Village located in the heart of Scottsdale, Wang opened her second store CARINE at 5th Ave in downtown Scottsdale in 2014. She also launched her own apparel line, CARINE, which is sold in hundreds of stores and boutiques across the USA and Canada.

 

In the Fall of 2017, Wang opened her third store CARINE at Old Town in Historic Old Town Scottsdale, followed by a fourth store CARINE at La Mirada which opened Fall of 2020 in North Scottsdale. In March of 2022, Wang ventured north of the valley and opened CARINE at Pinon Pointe Shops in Sedona, AZ; her fifth store and first outside of Scottsdale. Further expansion of both her wholesale and retail operations are planned for the coming years, always with a focus on bringing her customers the best looks and fit at the best value.

When she isn't designing, merchandising, or buying; Wang enjoys traveling to different parts of the world, cooking Asian cuisine, dinning out, and  spending time with her family and dogs in Fountain Hills, AZ.
